Men & Women Needed for a Pilot Study

Researchers in the Exercise & Sport Nutrition Laboratory (ESNL) within the Human Clinical Research Facility (HCRF) at Texas A&M University are recruiting approximately 10 apparently healthy males and females between the ages of 18 and 59 to participate in a study. Eligible participants should have no history of a cognitive deficit condition. The study will determine the dose effects of a caffeine-like compound (paraxanthine) ingestion on executive function (i.e., cognitive process such as mental control, self-regulation, etc.). Eligible participants will receive $225 for completing the study. Nine total visits over approximately four to six weeks will be required.
